Linux Systems Administrator (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5/6/7)

You will report directly to the extremely knowledgeable Technology Operations Manager and will be a part of the Operations team.

You will install, configure, patch, secure, and maintain Linux servers. Monitor system performance using OS tools, utilities, and platforms. As well as to support PKI and Directory Services.

CLEARANCE: Secret or Top Secret

Please have strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills; be able to work periodically extended hours if needed (core hours are 8 am to 4 PM. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are conducive to working in a team environment.

BA or BS in a related field or 8+ years direct experience or an AA with 4+ years will also be accepted
You must have experience administering and upgrading RedHat Linux Servers 5,6,7.

Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure Certificate Management and Directory Services is very helpful.

Experience maintaining HBSS/ACAS security scanning servers.

Experience with Linux, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

You will ensure CR documentation is correct and changes are properly implemented into the O&M environment. Tracking and coordinating the implementation of PKI and Global Directory Service (GDS) Change Requests (CRs) on a wide array of physical and virtual hosts in the O&M lab; Maintain the health and proper functioning of Linux-based computer systems in a DoD production environment;

IAT Level II certification is required and a current active Secret or above security clearance is also required.
