Remote Junior Paralegal – Litigation

This job is remote. But it would be best if you worked within driving distance of DC, NYC, Atlanta, San Francisco, Tampa, Phoenix, Houston, Dallas, Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Dallas/ Ft Worth, Palo Alto, Miami, Los Angeles, or Denver

PST hours: 8:30-5 or 9-5:30 M-F

CST hours: 9:30-10 or 10-6:30 M-F

EST hours 11:30-7 or 12-7:30 M-F

1560 Billable hours requirement

5-10 hours paid overtime = $13,000-$26,000 a year in additional income

The salary goes up to $75,000 with excellent benefits and tremendous learning and growth.

The firm seeks a junior paralegal for our Litigation Practice Group with a minimum of 2 years of law firm or similar experience.

This position will support the litigation/products liability/lemon law practice

Duties:

Ability to prepare complaints and other pleadings

Ability to prepare documents, forms, declarations, and exhibits for attorneys

Ability to prepare discovery requests and responses

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with attorneys and clients

Strong proofreading, grammar, and organizational skills

Strong ability to multitask

iManage, Intapp time entry experience is a plus

Solid MS Office suite experience required

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate is required

You must have at least 2 years year of litigation experience in a law firm or legal services firm; Product Liability and Lemon Law experience is a plus

Prior experience summarizing medical records, a plus

Knowledge of state and federal rules is a plus
