Senior Appian Consultant

W-2 position and you can work remotely with travel to a client site and the company headquarters in Arlington, VA when necessary.

This growing Appian Consulting firm is looking for an Appian Senior Consultant to assist in Appian software implementations. Appian Senior Consultants leverage Appian’s industry-leading Intelligent Business Process Management platform to automate business workflows and increase efficiency for new and existing business processes. Additionally, Appian Consultants focus on prevailing Agile methodologies to ensure unmatched speed to delivery on one of the industry’s most innovative platforms.

As a full-time employee, you will be a key part of the growth and success of the firm that will fulfill your passion for technology.  Furthering both the short-term and long-term vision and strategic plans for their Appian practice, maintaining alignment with our company values and vision; Continually emphasizing our customer-centric approach, ensuring that this method is promoted across our relationships; Design, implement, and demonstrate Appian solutions to clients; Mentor and develop junior consultants and business analysts on application and implementation methodology; Lead small teams throughout delivery; Work directly with project stakeholders throughout the entire life-cycle of projects to define, design, and implement business process-based solutions; Interface with clients to understand and interpret their business needs; Establish and implement metrics to optimize team delivery and measure business value

You must have at least 2-4 years of experience with Appian; 3-5 years of experience in technology consulting; Passion for technology and innovation; Experience throughout the software development life cycle; Strong Appian development skills; Demonstrates leadership and ability to mentor others; Familiarity with Agile methodologies; Proven track record of ability to work independently, meeting deadlines and expectations while communicating risks or blockers appropriately; Clear communication skills and ability to interface directly with clients; Preferred: Experience with Agile implementations (Scrum); Experience leading/managing other resources; Experience identifying and managing risk throughout the life of a project; Experience in cross-functional roles within the development life cycle; BS in Computer Science or related field
