Fully Remote Assistant Inprotech Manager

Fully Remote, anywhere in the USA, but prefer to be in the EST or CST zones.

$80,000-90,000, depending on tenure, experience and education.

Hours: 40-hour work week (exempt) 9-6 EST, 8-5 CST or a variation.

You need to have backroom/workflow experience.

The firm is seeking an Assistant Manager for Inprotech, the firm’s IPPMS (Intellectual Property Management Systems) to join our Intellectual Property and Technology team. You will report to and work directly with the IP&T Practice’s IPPMS Manager.

You will make assessments of the IP Group’s docketing needs, assisting with planning, development, and maintenance of Inprotech’s events and entries, workflows, screen designer functionalities, name records, case data comparison tools, document generation tool, and any other system tools or functionalities that are needed.

In addition, you will assist with coordinating data import and export, assist with the development of firm and client training materials, assist with the review, testing, and implementation of law updates, and assist with the review, testing, and implementation of any other system application upgrade or functional change. Finally, the role also includes assisting with the training of new Inprotech users.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of IP support experience in a law firm environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Inprotech.
  • Thorough understanding of prosecution procedures for domestic/international patent, design, trademark, contentious (opposition, cancellation proceedings), and post-grant matters.
