Azure Business Analyst with a TS Clearance

This International employee-focused State-of-the-Art Government Contractor provides migration, networking, computing, and security for hybrid cloud environments with cutting-edge contracts nationwide. The firm is searching for highly motivated and career-driven individuals to join their growing team as the Azure Business Analyst to join their dynamic team in Lorton, Virginia.
As an Azure Business Analyst, you will be crucial in managing and optimizing Azure costs for our client. You will analyze Azure subscription data, identify cost trends, and provide actionable insights to help our clients make informed decisions about their cloud resources. In addition, you will work closely with their clients to ensure compliance with business policies and cloud governance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze Azure subscription costs for multiple clients. Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation.
- Generate detailed cost reports and trend analysis for clients. Provide regular updates and insights on cost performance.
- Work with Azure resources, including virtual machines, databases, and storage, to ensure efficient utilization and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with clients to define and enforce business policies related to Azure usage, security, and compliance.
- Ensure that Azure resources are aligned with client-specific governance and security standards. Implement and maintain governance frameworks.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, explaining cost trends, resource allocation, and governance policies clearly and concisely.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Computer Science, or similar).
- Proven experience with Azure cost management, resource management, and cloud governance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
- Familiarity with Azure cost management tools and services.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
- Experience working with clients or stakeholders to define and enforce business policies.
- PMI or PMP certification is highly desirable.

- Experience with Azure security, compliance, IAM, and cost management
Requirements
- Must be within driving distance of Lorton, VA, OR willing to relocate there (Relocation Assistance Package Available)
- Must be willing to work onsite 5 days a week
- Must possess an active Top Secret clearance or above.
