Senior Litigation Legal Secretary
Litigation: Any Litigation, preferably Class Action, Product Liability, commercial, and corporate litigation

This job is a hybrid model of 3-4 days a week in the office and 1 day of remote work.
Very competitive compensation, depending on tenure, legal experience, and education.
No time entry, reimbursements, or billing. The office has one person to do all of it unless there is an emergency.
You will support the busy and dynamic office managing partner and other partners/associates in the practice group.
You will coordinate meetings, events, and other confidential matters with the office manager. The job involves approximately 80% legal secretarial work for the managing partner and other partners/associates and 20% administrative/coordination with heavy document management, proofreading, and e-filing in state and federal courts.

The firm seeks an experienced Senior Legal Secretary-Assistant to provide legal and administrative support to the office managing partner and other partners and associates.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Draft, revise, and format legal documents, correspondence, memoranda, and e-mail
- Perform administrative tasks such as preparing expense reports, check requests, client invoices, and time entries, as requested
- E-filing in the State and Federal courts
- Maintaining and managing client files
- Maintaining attorneys’ calendars and scheduling appointments
- Initiating communication and responding to client inquiries
- Coordinating client meetings, travel arrangements (domestic and international), and conferences
- Performing general administrative tasks of filing, mailing, answering phone calls, and greeting clients
- Working cooperatively with staff, paralegals, and lawyers
- Maintaining proficiency with office procedures and staying current with Firm technology
Qualifications:
- 10-20+ years of solid legal secretarial experience in a medium to large size local, regional, national, or international law firm.
- A degree is a plus but not required
- Ability to type, read, and write to proofread and perform initial input and revisions to legal documents, correspondence, memoranda, and email
- 60 wpm typing
- Solid litigation and e-filing experience in state and federal courts using PACER and other court systems
- Good working knowledge of document management systems such as iManage or other legal document management systems
- Computer proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
