This growing information technology government contractor that is rapidly expanding with business across the US seeks a Linux Engineering Subject Matter Specialist to work at their DoD client location at Fort Meade, MD. This is truly one of the Best Places to work.
You will provide high-level knowledge of PKI subject matter; gather, research, and present information related to project performance and O&M issues; coordinate with O&M, support, and engineering, as required.
Clearance: Secret or Above
You must have a solid knowledge of PKI and directory services
Experience with Linux, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
Familiar with DoD network security practices and STIG
Understand encryption technologies including Hardware Security Modules (HSMs)
You must have experience using and administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (REHEL) 5/6/7; Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure Certificate Services and Directory services; Familiar with DoD network security practices and STIG; BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, or Engineering OR the client can substitute 8 years’ experience in this job function for BS/BA degree.
