Marketing Associate

 

Location: Sterling, VA

 

Onsite 5 days a week and hours of 8:00 am – 5:45 pm

 

$65,000 – $80,000 DOE

This medical device company that develops advanced technologies used by patients and therapists in rehabilitation to improve function and independence.  The company has a strong commitment to quality, innovation, and integrity to earn and keep the trust of our customers.

 

They are looking for a highly driven Marketing Associate who has strong written, verbal, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and enjoys working in cross-functional teams.  Please have 2+ years’ experience working in marketing or related departments with a focus on product growth in existing and new markets.  Please have a strong sense of marketing strategies through various channels, including print and digital media, surveys, interviews, and trade shows.

 

Job Duties/Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing sales tools, brochures, spec sheets, and other collateral
  • Assist in writing support and training documents for internal and external users
  • Collaborates with Marketing and Sales team on shared projects, initiatives, and strategies
  • Works closely with the sales team to understand the market and value of our products
  • Assist with strategies around the promotion of our portfolio of products
  • Assist with the launching of new products
  • Post-market surveys and reports after launching of products
  • Coordinate trade shows and trade show logistics
  • Monitor trade show supplies, literature, and all other materials.
  • Ability to travel 10%, occasionally to include weekends for trade shows, photo shoots, and business meetings

 

Qualifications/Skills:

  • High School diploma/GED
  • Bachelor’s degree a plus, but not required
  • Effective written and verbal communications
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving records
  • Ability to effectively use MS Office programs: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong proofreading, editing, and document formatting skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional organization skills – can handle multiple projects at the same time

 

Additional skills that are a plus:

 

  • Knowledge of graphic editing programs (Canva, Pixelmator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Knowledge of website editing (WordPress)
