Position Details:

  • Location: Moorefield, West Virginia
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday (no weekends or evenings), 8 am to 4 pm or 9 am to 5 pm

 

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: up to $130K
  • Signing Bonus: $20,000
  • Relocation Allowance: $10,000
  • Vacation: 80 hours annually
  • Sick Leave: 64 hours annually
  • Continuing Education (CE) Leave: 40 hours annually, with a $2,500 allowance
  • Additional Paid Time Off (PTO): 32 hours annually
  • Health Insurance: 90% employer-paid for self and family

  • Loan Repayment Program: Available

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive eye exams and vision care
  • Diagnose and treat vision disorders and ocular diseases
  • Prescribe corrective lenses and educate patients on proper care
  • Collaborate with a dedicated support team to ensure the best patient outcomes

 

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
  • A minimum of 5 year of work experience as an Optometrist in WV or the US
  • Active state licensure in West Virginia OR eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Commitment to excellent patient care and community engagement
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
