This well-respected regional general practice law firm in Reston, VA, seeks a Senior Wills, Trusts, and Estates Paralegal with a minimum of 7 years of in estate planning and trust and estate administration to join their busy growing T & E practice group with some of the finest lawyers and paralegals in the legal field.
1000-1200 billable hours requirement
Based on experience, education, and background, the firm will pay up to $90,000
Hours are 9 am-5 pm M-F with an hour for lunch, with occasional overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours.
This role is onsite in Reston, five days a week

Responsibilities:
Estate planning for high-net-worth individuals, including drafting, reviewing, and analyzing estate-planning documents and assisting clients with the entire process of funding trusts.
Estate and trust administration in the jurisdictions of Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia, including reviewing the will/trust, analyzing it in light of the known financial and family situation, researching statutes and case law in those jurisdictions, and drafting agreements and other legal documents necessary in complex administrations.
Clear, concise, and correct oral and written communication at an appropriate level to the situation and interaction with the client.
Requirements
7-15 years of senior Trusts and Estate planning and administration experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in a law firm
You must possess a bachelor’s degree.
A paralegal certificate is preferred.
Someone who can work both independently and with a team
You must have outstanding attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You must demonstrate patience and be very responsive to questions to become the firm’s T&E subject matter expert.
A writing sample will be required at the start of the interview process.
You must be highly organized, computer literate, and a self-starter with a strong desire to support and facilitate a fast-paced practice with significant client contact.
You must be able to work five days a week in the office in Reston, VA. Following your training and probationary period, a hybrid option is available.
