Hybrid work model of 3 days in the office in downtown Chicago (Financial District) and two days remote. Firm located 1-2 blocks from Union Station and South Shore Line metros
8:30-5 or 9-5:30 with an hour lunch break
This award-winning international firm with offices in all major business centers worldwide seeks a will-train Customer Service Billing Assistant who loves working with team members whose defining characteristics are achievement, initiative, professionalism, responsiveness, and adaptability. Then this is the job for you to join the firm’s Finance Operations department in Chicago.
You will have a 4-week training program to learn to work with the Billing Teams, providing support to Billing Analysts on billing-related functions. You will edit, prepare, and process invoices accurately and promptly. You will generate and distribute prebills, draft correspondence, perform time and expense transfers and edits, and create reports. Prepare invoices, submit invoices via eBilling Hub, process write-offs, prepare bill cancellations, posts, and mail invoices using appropriate bill formats. Prepare spreadsheets or supplemental billing documents, coordinate necessary matter changes and other billing-related projects as required, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of bill preparation.

A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
A minimum of one year of customer service, accounting, or billing experience, no law firm required
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
10-key calculator by touch preferred
Provide a high-level customer service
Some overtime during peak or critical periods
